Duhok governor, Tamar .R. Fattah, headed a meeting attended by more than 60 NGOs and UN agencies and civil society organizations in Duhok. The drought and its influence on the agriculture and livestock was discussed in the meeting. The governor indicated that the government has allocated 10 billion dinars in the face of drought. At the end of the meeting many organizations attending the meeting expressed their preparedness to give all support to lessen the effect of drought on the region. |
